Madsen is back at JTB

Emma Madsen has returned to the Jamaica Tourist Board as business development manager in Western Canada, effective today.

Madsen, who will be responsible for developing the JTB’s sales initiatives in Western Canada, is an industry veteran and expert on Jamaica and previously held the same role with the Jamaica Tourist Board from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that she was a BDM for Sunwing Vacations and Sunquest/Holiday House. She began her career in the travel industry in 2000 as a reservations agent at Fun Sun Vacations.

“We are happy to have Ms. Madsen re-join our team,” said Philip Rose, the JTB’s regional director for Canada. “She has an impeccable track record for selling Jamaica and excellent relationships in Western Canada.”

Madsen will be based in Calgary, Alberta, with responsibility for sales in the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. She can be reached at emadsen@visitjamaica.com.
