L.A. tourism picks Faulhaber for Canadian representation
The Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board has announced a new partnership with Faulhaber as the new agency of record (AOR) for public relations in Canada.
In a press release, Faulhaber said it will work closely with the L.A. Tourism team to share stories that highlight "LA 2.0" - the vibrant, diverse and new offerings from the City of Angels post-pandemic.
"The selection process for our agency partner in the North was incredibly competitive as Canada represents one of our top tourist-feeder markets,” stated Chris Heywood, senior vice-president, global communications at the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board. “L.A. is a future forward city and I’m absolutely thrilled to have Faulhaber’s ahead-of-the-curve approach leading our PR efforts in Canada.”
As part of the mandate, Faulhaber will amplify LA Tourism’s latest ad campaign, Now Playing, which spotlights L.A.’s attractions, experiences, and accommodations, featuring top talent that gives the campaign an added touch of Hollywood magic.
“At Faulhaber, we believe that stories are boundless in their ability to connect brands with their community in a meaningful way. Our creative approach to earned media relations stood out in the RFP process and helped secure this partnership,” said Lexi Pathak, president and Partner at faulhaber. “L.A. is a destination that evokes the spirit of possibility, and we are looking forward to sharing stories that highlight this to Canadians looking for unparalleled travel experiences in 2024.”
