Jamaica rolls out “Meet-Me-In-MoBay” FAMs for Canadian travel advisors
Nearly four months after enduring a Category 5 hurricane, Jamaica is welcoming Canadian travel advisors back to the island with a series of FAM trips.
The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) is offering a series of four-night FAM trips exclusively for Canadian travel advisors under the theme “Meet Me in MoBay – Back to Business.”
The trips aim to provide advisors with an immersive experience in Jamaica, highlighting that the island is open, safe, and ready to host visitors.
Participation in the FAM trips is free and advisors are invited to book their own flights from any preferred Canadian departure city to Montego Bay.

Upon return from Jamaica, within 30 days, the JTB will provide an air credit refund in the amount of C$200 per participant, upon submission of a post-FAM survey form.
The trip dates are:
- FAM 1: March 3–7 2026
- FAM 2: March 10–14 ,2026
- FAM 3: March 10–14, 2026
- FAM 4: March 17–21, 2026
Once in destination, the JTB will cover all land arrangements, including single room accommodation, airport meet and greet and return transportation, site inspections, and all meals, sightseeing and excursions on the itinerary.
The first two nights of each FAM will be at Princess Senses The Mangrove Resorts (except FAM 3).
The selection process
As for the selection process, the JTB notes that due to the volume of applications it receives, it is unable to provide individual responses to each application.
“Every application is however reviewed,” the tourist board writes on its website. “Once you have been selected to attend one of our FAMs, we will send you a written conditional acceptance e-mail, offering you a spot on the fam rotation date you selected, or an alternative available date.”
“It is important that we receive a response from you, acknowledging receipt of the conditional offer e-mail.
Once the JTB sends a conditional acceptance offer, you have seven calendar days to book your own airfare, fill out and submit the Personal Travel Details form and provide the JTB with a copy of your ticket receipt.
“If we do not hear back from you or receive these documents by mid-day on the seventh day after the offer was made, your spot is automatically forfeited and offered to someone else,” the JTB writes. “We however appreciate the courtesy of hearing from you, whether you will be taking up the offer or not. We do understand that sometimes circumstances change between application and offer periods.”
FAM selection is based on “a composite of factors,” not limited to the travel advisor Profile information, but also including the specifications and requirements of the respective host properties, says the JTB.
The deadline to apply is this Friday, February 20, 2026. Click here for more information.
