Globus gives travellers 62 ways to experience Italy in 2018

Globus and its sister companies Cosmos and Monograms will offer travellers 62 Italy itineraries this year, offering a wide range of options to explore the destination on its own or in combination of other countries.

Globus alone has 15 escorted itineraries to Italy, from seven to 15 days, including the new Hidden Treasures of Southern Italy and The Sicilian, while value brand Cosmos offers 11 tours, including new ones to Apulia, the Heel of Italy and Rome, Florence & Venice; its new Gourmet Tuscany, based for eight days in a hotel in Montecatini with food-flavoured day trips, is almost sold out, Globus said.

In addition, Monograms has ten Italian itineraries, from seven to 16 days. Its most complex tour takes clients to Sorrento, Rome, Florence, Venice and Lake Maggiore.

Also this year, Monograms has extended its City Getaway programs to Italy, “bite-sized” tours which serve as an introduction to a city, including accommodation, a half-day sightseeing and services of a Local Host for recommendations. The tours are available for Rome, Florence, Venice, Sorrento, Lake Como and Lake Maggiore; while City Getwaways are usually offered for four days, Monograms has introduced flexible two- to five-night programs to Rome, Venice and Florence.
