A select group of Canadian travel professionals got a brief respite from the cold weather during a screening of a new documentary bridging the divide between two well-known warm-weather destinations.

Louisiana Tourism hosted a screening of A Tuba to Cuba, a new documentary chronicling the travels of New Orleans’ renowned Preservation Hall Jazz Band in Cuba, exploring the musical and cultural connections between the two regions.

Unique Louisiana experiences such as Preservation Hall (founded in 1961 to preserve New Orleans’ jazz heritage) are showcased in Louisiana Tourism’s new ‘Feed Your Soul’ campaign unveiled earlier this year, featuring three videos packed with travel ideas for visitors heading south this winter.
