Dominican Republic launches online rewards program for travel trade

The Dominican Republic has launched an online rewards platform for travel trade across North America, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Dominican Republic Travel Rewards, in association with My Booking Rewards, is now live, giving travel advisors – including ones in Canada – an opportunity to earn more on bookings.

The rewards include earning $1 per room, per night available, on holiday bookings made with more than 170 properties country wide, according to a press release.  

“This is an important move by destination Dominican Republic, and we are delighted they have selected our agile technology to help them reach and incentivize agents in the U.S., Canada and Latin America,” stated Darren Pearson, founder and CEO, My Booking Rewards, in the release. “Those agents that register with us to take advantage of the rewards on offer will also have access to training webinars and a marketing suite of factsheets and imagery to help boost their sales potential.”

Agents can reap the benefits of bookings that are logged here. Valid bookings need to be a minimum four-night stay to qualify.
