Discover The Palm Beaches launches training portal for travel advisors
Discover The Palm Beaches (DTPB) has launched a new resource to help travel professionals learn, sell, engage with, and promote The Palm Beaches, which consists of 39 vibrant cities and towns that stretch from Jupiter to Boca Raton in Southeast Florida.
The free online learning platform for travel advisors shares comprehensive insights into “America’s First Resort Destination.”
“Travel advisors are tremendous ambassadors for our destination, and we’re hopeful they will find ‘The Palm Beaches Travel Trade Portal’ a valuable resource to help increase awareness of why we are a great place to visit,” said Milton Segarra, CDME, president and CEO of DTPB, in a press release.
“This is another feather in our innovation cap. Thanks to the efforts and collaboration of our Global Leisure Sales & Marketing Technology team, this training portal will save our organization approximately $200,000 over the next five years, and we believe it will solidify the expertise of travel trade professionals seeking to curate memorable experiences for their clients.”

Learning modules in the Palm Beaches Travel Trade Portal cover history, geography, lodging, culinary delights, transportation options, events, tourist attractions, and more. Upon completion, certification will be granted.
For the first 100 certified travel professionals, one advisor will be selected at random for a chance to win a two-night, three-day stay for two people, including two round-trip airline tickets to The Palm Beaches. (Prize is based on two travellers and is subject to availability and blackout dates. Certain restrictions apply).
The certification must be completed between now and June 30, 2024, for the prize travel to take place from July through September 30, 2024. Click here to register.
The training platform comes on the heels of the destination launching a new brand campaign called “The Palm Beaches Collection.”
The concept aims to redefine the visitor experience by spotlighting the destination’s rich diversity, nature, arts and culture scene, shopping experiences, world-class spa and wellness, active sports experiences and delectable dining.
Whether drawn to theatre and world-class museums or eager to tee off on lush golf courses, guests will find the collection caters to every preference.
