Cuba: travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage required
On December 7, the Government of Canada updated its travel advice for Cuba: the Entry and Exit Requirements tab has been modified to add information on travel insurance.
"Travel insurance with coverage for COVID-19 is required," to access Cuba, now indicates Global Affairs Canada, referencing information "obtained from Cuban authorities."
Global Affairs mentions that this requirement is in addition to the mandatory ACP test upon arrival.
"If the PCR result is positive, you will be transferred to health facilities and hospitalized in isolation."
