Canlink to represent Visit Orlando
Visit Orlando has hired Canlink Travel as its representative in Canada, responsible for the representation of Visit Orlando to the travel industry across the country.
Canlink’s duties will include implementing sales strategies and activities, supporting the trade with training, presentations and tools and ensuring the trade is kept up to date on all the growth in the destination. These actions will complement Visit Orlando’s efforts to drive Canadian visitors to Orlando through consumer marketing, public relations and social media campaigns.
Joining the Canlink team and dedicated specifically to the Visit Orlando account is Kerry Sullivan. Sullivan brings a wealth of destination sales and marketing experience including 19 years representing the Puerto Rican tourist board in Canada. Sullivan will be the main liaison between the Canadian travel agency community and Visit Orlando.
“We have a long history of working closely with Canada’s travel trade industry,” said Elaine Blazys, Vice President of Travel Industry Sales for Visit Orlando. “Canlink owners Elaine and Brent Carnegie, along with their team of experts, will be an extension of the Orlando-based team to specifically provide the Canadian travel industry with even more personalized service and education.”
More information on specific resources for travel professionals, including collateral, sales aids and itinerary planners can be found on Visit Orlando’s travel trade site, VisitOrlando.com/trade.
