Canadian travel advisors unpack gems in Southwest Florida

Sunny skies in Southwest Florida welcomed a group of Canadian travel advisors hosted by VISIT FLORIDA in early November. 

As shared in a press release, agents from AMA, CAA, Centre Holidays, Expedia Cruises and Tripcentral.ca spent six days exploring the Paradise Coast, Fort MyersIslands Beaches and Neighbourhoods, and St. Pete/Clearwater.

Accommodations were provided by the Inn on Fifth Naples, LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort Naples, Westin Cape Coral Resort, and Postcard Inn on St. Pete Beach.

Highlights of the FAM included a motorized trike tour of Naples, dolphin watch and shelling tour within Marco Island and the Ten Thousand Islands area, shopping at Miromar Outlet Mall, Captiva Island sunset cruise, educational tour of the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, and visiting the new pier and popular museums in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The participants enjoyed the warm hospitality, exciting experiences, and insider tips and information for all three popular Southwest Florida destinations for Canadians. 

The trip was led by Kelli Godwin, VISIT FLORIDA and Lea-Ann Goltz, account manager for VISIT FLORIDA, represented in Canada by VoX International.
