BDM Anne Palardy leaves the Jamaica Tourist Board
In a post on Facebook yesterday (June 6), Anne Palardy announced her departure from the Jamaica Tourist Board, where she had been working since mid-March as a business development manager for Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
In her brief message, Ms. Palardy did not specify the circumstances of her departure. She simply thanks “dear agents [and] dear friends” for their support, wishing them "all the very best"
It should be noted that Ms. Palardy's post on Facebook prompted dozens of comments from members of the industry, almost all of whom wished her well with the future.
Palardy joined the JTB in March to take over a role previously held by Louise Paquette, who retired at the end of 2021, after 26 years of service at the Jamaica Tourist Board for Eastern Canada!
Ms. Palardy left her role as director of business development at Sandos Hotels & Resorts at the end of February, a position she held for five years.
Previously, she was a business development representative for Transat (2012-2016) and a sales representative at Vacances Tours Mont-Royal (2012-2014).
Until a Quebec and Atlantic Canada successor is found, agents can contact the Jamaica Tourist Board directly at jtbcanada@visitjamaica.com.
