Anguilla Tourist Board renews Canadian partnership with Jesson & Company
(Anguilla Tourist Board)

The Anguilla Tourist Board (ATB) has renewed its partnership with Jesson & Company Communications Inc., appointing the firm as its public relations, sales and marketing agency of record in Canada.

The renewed relationship took effect July 1, 2026. It will see Jesson & Company support ATB’s efforts to grow destination awareness, strengthen travel trade engagement and expand media relations in Canada, Anguilla’s second-largest source market.

“We are so pleased to be working with Jesson & Company Communications again as Anguilla approaches its next winter travel season riding a wave of positive momentum and perception,” said the Hon. Cardigan Connor, Minister of Health, Tourism and Sports, in a press release. “There are few agencies with as much expertise in the sector, and we are confident their familiarity and passion for the destination will help them create new opportunities among Canadians seeking an elevated and perfected Caribbean experience.”

As part of the partnership, Jesson & Company will oversee media relations, travel trade engagements, content development and marketing initiatives across Canada.

The agency will work directly with journalists, influencers, travel advisors and industry partners to build on Anguilla’s existing visibility in the Canadian market.

Growth from Canada

The renewed partnership comes as Anguilla continues to see strong growth from Canada.

The Caribbean destination recorded 90,017 total visitor arrivals during the first quarter of 2026, marking its strongest first quarter in 34 years. Canadian stayover arrivals, meanwhile, jumped 40 per cent year over year, rising from 2,138 in the first quarter of 2025 to 2,993 during the same period this year.

Canadian access to the destination is also set to expand this winter. New weekly Saturday air service from Toronto Pearson International Airport via Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, is scheduled to begin Dec. 19, 2026.

“Canadians are increasingly looking for new horizons in both the traditional winter travel season and the offseason, and what they crave more than anything when selecting a destination is authenticity,” said Barbara Jesson, CEO and founder of Jesson & Company Communications Inc, in a statement.

“Anguilla is rich in both experience and culture, and we look forward to sharing more compelling stories from the destination through our Public Relations and Marketing efforts.”

Located in the Leeward Islands, Anguilla is known for its 33 beaches, culinary scene and collection of luxury hotels, resorts and villas.

The ATB said the agency appointment is part of its long-term strategy to strengthen Anguilla’s presence in Canada, with a focus on increasing consumer awareness, deepening relationships with the travel trade and generating greater media visibility.

“In Anguilla, we work closely with our stakeholders and partners on-island to deliver a world-class visitor experience,” added Jameel Rochester, director of tourism at the Anguilla Tourist Board. “With this Canadian partnership, we are strengthening our connection with a market where Anguilla’s luxury, authenticity and warm hospitality strongly resonate.”
