TravelBrands to give 1% of all sales to SickKids on August 14

TravelBrands says it is continuing its commitment to the SickKids Foundation via its annual SickKids Day. 

The company is pledging a donation of 1% from all sales on August 14, 2024, to the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).

To date, the company has raised over 1.8 million dollars for SickKids. Thecollaboration reflects a mutual commitment to compassion and innovation, the company says. 

“We are profoundly honoured to support the SickKids Foundation, an organization that delivers exceptional care and hope to countless children and families,” said Nathalie Tanious, president & CEO of H.I.S. Canada Travel Inc., the parent company of TravelBrands. “Our personal connections with SickKids make this partnership especially meaningful. By committing 1% of our sales, we are investing in a healthier future for generations to come. We are so grateful to all who contribute to this initiative, as your support helps us achieve a lasting impact.”

In addition to this one-day sales pledge, TravelBrands says it remains dedicated to year-round engagement and fundraising for the SickKids Foundation. 

This includes the 9th Annual Charity Golf Classic, taking place on September 5, 2024, with strong support from partners, suppliers, and many travel industry professionals. 

Additionally, TravelBrands encourages travel agents to contribute to the cause by donating their Loyalty Rewards Points to the SickKids Foundation through www.travelbrandsaccess.com.
