Transat extends complimentary Option Flex Standard offer to winter

Following the launch of its summer offer, Transat is now extending its promotion of complimentary Option Flex Standard on South packages to the winter season.

From July 8 to August 2, 2026, travellers who make a new individual booking for a South package departing between September 1, 2026, and April 30, 2027, will receive this protection at no additional cost, reads a press release issued Wednesday (July 8).

"With Option Flex Standard, travellers can adjust their plans with greater peace of mind. The protection allows them to cancel their trip and receive a travel credit, change their travel dates, destination or hotel up to 72 hours before departure, or transfer their package to someone else up to 30 days before departure, subject to applicable terms and conditions," Transat said.

The offer applies to new individual bookings only and excludes group reservations.
