Tokyo Tourism opens new Canadian office, launches website

Tokyo Tourism has opened a new office and launched a new website for the Canadian market, as interest in the destination grows in Canada.

The organization’s new Canadian office will be located in Toronto at 460 Richmond St. W (suite 401). The Toronto office has also created a new website at www.canada-tokyo.ca through which it will send e-newsletters several times a month and maintain an up-to-date blog about news and topical events in Tokyo.

With the 2020 Tokyo Olympics fast approaching, Tokyo Tourism has stepped up its effort to promote the capital of Japan as a major tourist destination. It recently launched the "& Tokyo" brand (www.andtokyo.jp), focused on the diversity of culture, history, and lifestyles that can be found in the dynamic metropolis of Tokyo and the ways in which this diversity can be leveraged to customize tourism experiences.
