TDC launches program for home-based agents

Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) has launched a new program aimed at home-based travel sales professionals. 

Transat Travel Agent@Home is an agent-friendly program that compiles TDC’s lineup of value propositions, from branded franchise locations to affiliate member agencies, Joseph Adamo, General Manager, TDC, stated in a release. 

The extensive program delivers benefits to agents, including superior commissions, support and training on products, a professional web presence, as well as an exclusive insurance and incentive plan. 

Agents will also have access to Transat’s marketing campaigns and customer relationship marketing (CRM) tools, such as the Star Traveller rewards program.

TDC already hosts more than 100 outside agents who are self-employed, the company stated.
