TDC honours top agency owners with Mediterranean Bravo Excellence Club trip
Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) recently recognized 30 franchise and affiliated agency owners from across Canada with an eight-night Mediterranean trip through Portugal and Spain.
The latest edition of TDC’s Bravo Excellence Club trip, held in collaboration with Norwegian Cruise Line and Air Transat, brought together award recipients and a guest of their choice.
For more than 20 years, the trip has recognized outstanding sales performance by TDC owners.
“There are corporate events. And then there are moments like the Bravo Excellence Club trip,” said Karine Gagnon, general manager of TDC.
“I truly believe this is much more than a recognition trip. It’s a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, to get to know one another on a human level, to discuss business realities and, above all, to create lasting memories together.”
“These authentic moments are a powerful reminder that the TDC network is made up of extraordinary, passionate and deeply committed people. I am sincerely grateful to have shared this memorable week with our owners,” she added.
Connecting outside the office
Dianne Jackson, director, franchise and affiliate members at TDC, said the trip also gives members an opportunity to connect outside a business setting.
“Although these trips are 100% about enjoyment—with no training or professional development component—they are so much more than a simple reward. They bring us back to what truly unites us: the joy of travel and discovery.”
She added: “our members constantly tell us how much they enjoy being together—and they prove it through their near-unconditional participation in our optional activities. Every evening, everyone looked forward to gathering for cocktails, which quickly became a can’t-miss rendezvous. To me, that speaks volumes about the strong bonds within the TDC network and the quality of the relationships we have built and are fortunate to maintain.”
From Lisbon to Barcelona
Participants flew to Lisbon aboard Air Transat before beginning their Mediterranean itinerary.
Stops included Portimão, Seville, Motril, Gibraltar, Ibiza, Palma and Barcelona.
The itinerary focused on the cultural and culinary offerings of the Iberian Peninsula.
Optional excursions included visits to medieval castles and wine routes, a cruise in the Bay of Gibraltar and around the Rock and experiences focused on olive oil production.
Recognizing 2025 achievements
The trip also included a Bravo Excellence Club gala recognizing the owners’ achievements and sustained commitment throughout 2025.
Gagnon was joined by Renée Boisvert, president of TDC and vice-president, tour operator products and sales at Transat, in recognizing recipients.
Jackson, Colette Girard and Julie Sareault, commercial director at Transat, also participated in the recognition.
The release also acknowledged the role played by agency teams, spouses and partners in supporting the award recipients. Gagnon, meanwhile, emphasized the impact of leadership.
“Your actions and the direction you provide to your teams as leaders are decisive. Your ability to mobilize your teams, to create a clear vision and to focus efforts where they matter most—that is leadership. And it is the sum of all these actions that enables us to achieve the objectives we set for ourselves,” she said.
