Sunwing Vacations Group has renewed its commitment to Quebec by offering vacation packages from Montreal and Quebec City year-round, as well as seasonal service from Saguenay-Bagotville during the winter season.

This summer, the tour operator will offer Sunwing and WestJet Vacations customers direct flights to more than a dozen popular sun destinations, departing from Montreal or Quebec City, said Lyne Chayer, vice-president of Sunwing Vacations Group, Quebec.

Several options will also be available during the upcoming winter season – "including seasonal service for our valued customers in Saguenay-Bagotville," Chayer added.

Furthermore, as of May 29, 2025, all customers who booked a package with Sunwing Vacations or WestJet Vacations will travel on aircraft operated by WestJet Airlines.

"The Quebec market is essential to achieving WestJet's long-term vision. We are more committed than ever to growing our presence in the province by offering smart travel options that meet the needs and priorities of Quebecers," said Samantha Taylor, executive vice-president and chief experience officer of the WestJet Group.

Chayer is excited about the next phase of growth.

"We continue to offer our customers vacation packages to destinations they already know and love, at affordable prices, while adding new destinations that will be available through WestJet's expanded network," she said.

Taylor also emphasized that French-speaking Quebec customers will benefit from French-language service.

"We are very excited to see our growth in Quebec increase while meeting the diverse needs of Quebecers, particularly by guaranteeing French-language service on board," she said.

Taylor said she is eager for all customers to travel on WestJet flights, whether they have booked a package with Sunwing or WestJet package.

"Starting May 29, they can expect a much smoother customer experience, whether it's thanks to the ever-friendly and caring crew members, the reliability of the service or the punctuality rate for which WestJet is renowned," she said.
