Skal members dressed to kilt at Holiday Gala

It was an evening of suave glamour and smooth cocktails (shaken, not stirred) last night at the Toronto Skal Club’s annual Holiday Gala last night in downtown Toronto.

Sponsored in part by VisitBritain, the James Bond-themed Gala brought Skal members and their guests together in their best tartan garb and spy-style glamour for dinner, live music, martini glass party favours and a complimentary green screen photo booth which transported partygoers and their friends to the United Kingdom throughout the night.

A raffle and a lively auction with excellent destination prizes also took place, with all proceeds from donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank. The three-course holiday meal was followed by a traditional English pudding for dessert, after which guests took to the dance floor, busting out their best moves to the tunes of Andre & the JTones – capping off a successful celebration that was really only just getting started.

Travel industry professionals interested in joining the organization can visit www.torontoskal.org or www.skalcanada.org for those outside of the Toronto area.
