Sears Travel promotes new managing director

Daphne Sword has been promoted to managing director of Sears Travel after rejoining the company in January as director of sales in Ontario.

“I am a firm believer that we hire based on attitude first and skill second. Daphne’s drive and passion for the business and her commitment to its success is exemplary. This position was simply a natural fit,” Zeina Gedeon, CEO of TravelBrands, stated in a release.

Reporting to Daphne are Manon Blouin, regional director in Quebec, Vena Chopra in regional director, Western Canada and Eva Charles, who has been promoted to senior area sales manager for Ontario.
