RIU opening new Aruba hotel in October
On Oct. 11, RIU Hotels & Resorts will open Riu Palace Antillas, the company’s second hotel on the island of Aruba.
This new resort is located next to the Riu Palace Aruba on Palm Beach and will be the first on the island exclusively for adults to offer an all-inclusive 24-hour service. Guests of the Riu Palace Antillas will also be able to enjoy the Riu Palace Aruba’s facilities, as both hotels are joined by a bridge that will allow guests to go from one resort to the other.
Each of the new hotel’s 482 guest rooms will have satellite flat-screen TV, an electronic safe and free wi-fi Internet service.
The hotel’s Atlantis restaurant will offer international cuisine and stations with freshly cooked dishes. There are also three speciality restaurants: the fusion restaurant Krystal, the Italian Rimini and the Malmok steakhouse. Guests can enjoy a snack at the Palm Beach pool restaurant, as well as refreshments and cocktails at the pool bar Aqua or the Wayaka lobby bar. The hotel also has an elegant café, open around the clock and offering customers a wide range of cakes and pastries.
The Riu Palace Antillas also boasts the Carnaval Lounge Bar and the Chiquito Plaza Bar, the Pacha nightclub (with entrance and drinks as part of the all-inclusive program), as well as a full casino.
