National Geographic Signature with G Adventures adds 17 new trips
National Geographic Signature with G Adventures is expanding its global portfolio with 17 new itineraries, bringing the total number of trips in the collection to 49 across 44 destinations.
The new departures build on the program’s launch earlier this year and introduce additional destinations, including Spain, Bhutan and the Canadian Rockies.
The trips focus on small-group travel with an emphasis on local connections, cultural experiences and expert-led storytelling.
"The appetite for travel that offers genuine depth is undeniable, and the response to Signature has been so powerful that it’s officially become our most successful launch to date,” said David Green, VP, global sales and managing director, Canada.
“I’m particularly proud to see this expansion reach our own backyard in Canada. Bringing National Geographic’s legacy to our home turf allows us to peel back the layers of the Canadian Rockies, revealing a raw and intricate side of the landscape that most people, even locals, rarely get to experience.
From the Himalayas to the Rockies and Northern Spain, this expanded collection proves that expert-led storytelling and community-led tourism are the most powerful ways to create a meaningful ripple effect for the people and places we visit.”
The Signature collection is developed in collaboration with National Geographic Expeditions and local partners, with itineraries designed to provide deeper access to destinations and communities.
Each trip is led by National Geographic Expedition Leaders, with additional input from specialists in areas such as photography, conservation, history and science.
New itineraries include:
Canada’s Rocky Mountains, Banff & Indigenous Traditions
This trip explores the Canadian Rockies through a mix of natural and cultural experiences, including time with Indigenous communities and guided interpretation of the region’s landscapes and wildlife.
Bhutan & the High Himalayan Valleys
An eight-day journey through Bhutan focused on spirituality, heritage and daily life, with visits to key sites such as Tiger’s Nest and opportunities to connect with local artisans and monks.
Turkey’s Istanbul, Ephesus & Cappadocia
A 10-day itinerary covering major historical sites across Turkey, including Istanbul, Ephesus and Cappadocia, with guided context on the region’s cultural and archaeological significance.
Northern Spain’s Ancient Caves, Basque Coast & La Rioja
An eight-day trip combining prehistoric sites, coastal food culture and wine regions, with a focus on local traditions and contemporary influences.
The expansion follows what the company described as strong demand for the Signature style of travel since its debut earlier this year.
