Luxury Gold promotes savings on tours through USA's southern states

Luxury Gold wants clients to embrace two of life’s greatest pleasures – music and food – while visiting the American heartland known around the world for both.

The 14-day Sumptuous Soul of America will take guests through cities including Louisville, Nashville, and Memphis, before culminating in vibrant New Orleans.

This beloved destination is celebrating its annual Mardi Gras festival, famous for its parades, costumes, and brightly coloured beads, and Luxury Gold invites guests to join in on the revelry.

*Travellers can save 7.5 per cent on featured New Orleans itineraries and other USA and Canada journeys.

“Luxury Gold is immensely excited to our offer guests the ultimate journey through the southern states during New Orleans’ 300th Anniversary celebrations taking place throughout 2018 with its 135 yearly festivals,” said Brad Ford, president of Luxury Gold Canada. “On this luxury trip, they will experience the best in the country in terms of cuisine, music, culture, and spirits.”

French for “Fat Tuesday”, Mardi Gras, a celebration that can be traced back to medieval Europe, began as a way to reflect on the last night of eating richer food before the ritual fasting of the Lent season. Now, on this featured journey, travellers can indulge in some of the best dining experiences across America. For guests looking to enjoy the elegance of the southern states on a bit of a shorter journey, Luxury Gold’s 9-day Southern Grace journey includes the same highlights that can’t be missed.
