Logimonde Media: market leader in distribution

Marie-Klaude Gagnon, President and CEO of Logimonde Media Inc. & publisher of PAXA January  2016 audit by renowned accounting firm Deloitte was commissioned to review Logimonde Media Inc.'s distribution of online and printed products in order to verify its central database of subscribers. In total, the database has 104,000 subscribers to all its web and print products (English and French).

  • Logimonde Media Inc.'s e-magazines are sent daily to 39,128 subscribers in total (10,675 to PAXnouvelles.com; 21,580 to PAXnews.com; and 6,873 for PAXNewsWest.com).
  • The total range of Logimonde Media Inc.’s distribution service, QuickPresse.com, is 29,559 subscribers (9,108 shipments in French and 20,451 shipments in English).
  • In total, Logimonde Media’s online product reaches 94,746 subscribers (including digital magazines and PAX magazine) with 30,416 unique email addresses – the most online subscribers of any Canadian travel industry publication.

Logimonde Media Inc.’s printed magazines, PAX magazine (which consists of both English and French versions) started in 2014 and were audited for the first time in 2016.

In total, 10,000 copies of PAX magazine were distributed to a database of 9,664 subscribers (1,881 French and 7,783 in English). They were sent to business owners, travel agency managers and industry suppliers in Canada. The remaining 336 copies were distributed at promotional travel industry events.

Also available is the digital version of PAX magazine, which counts 26,059 readers in Canada - 8,747 subscribers to the French version and 17,312 subscribers to the English edition.

Audit: methodology and transparency

Deloitte S.E.N.C.R.L./s.r.l. certifies that the auditors' report, filed Jan. 5, 2016, was performed in accordance with standards established by CPA Canada, which ensures that the online product distribution is free of inaccurate information. It therefore gives a fair summary of Logimonde Media Inc.’s distribution lists, which consists of the three e-magazines,  the advertising distribution service QuickPresse.com and two print magazines, PAX magazine.

The audit also comprises the distribution of PAX magazine by Logimonde media staff at industry events. A copy of the database is also sent to the accounting firm to verify the accuracy of the lists. It also conducts checks by telephone survey and emails to subscribers to ensure that recipients’ are indeed professionals in the travel industry.
