Logimonde expands Toronto team
Logimonde Media is pleased to announce a new addition to the Toronto team as a result of the company's ongoing commitment to growth in 2016.
Michael Pihach has been appointed editorial & communications associate, a role that will have him supporting Logimonde's ongoing efforts of creating compelling editorial content and establishing strong working relationships with professionals in the travel industry.
He took on the new position at the beginning of January and, as a former PAX freelancer, has already proven himself to be a valuable contributor to PAXnews.com and PAX magazine.
“We are thrilled to have Michael join our Toronto team,” said Marie-Klaude Gagnon, President & CEO of Logimonde Media. “This is simply another step in order to support our continued growth,” she added .
Pihach brings more than a decade of experience working in media. After graduating from Ryerson University’s journalism program, he was an editor and writer for a variety of magazines, such as Toronto’s fab, Xtra! and IN Toronto magazines, as well as 2B magazine in Montreal. He has worked as an on-camera host and videographer, covering red carpet events across Canada and abroad, such as the Life Ball in Vienna, Austria. He joins PAX after years of working at CBC Television, helping produce such shows as Canada Reads, Canada’s Smartest Person and, notably, Steven and Chris.
“Michael’s diverse skill set is a welcome addition to the group” said John Kirk, executive vice president and co-publisher. “We have some exciting projects we are working on and are looking forward to rolling them out over the coming months,“ added Kirk.
