Intrepid launches Q1 advisor incentive with doubled prize structure

Intrepid Travel has launched its Q1 travel advisor incentive program, running from January 8 to February 13, 2026, offering more than $30,000 CAD in prizes.

For the first time, the company is awarding separate weekly and grand prizes for USA and Canada advisors, doubling the number of winners compared to previous incentive programs.

Grand prizes include a complimentary Intrepid tour to Peru valued up to $3,500 CAD plus companion travel or single supplement of equal value, a complimentary Short Break trip up to $3,000 CAD, and a complimentary Premium Walking & Trekking trip up to $4,000 CAD. 

Flights, pre and post accommodation, and transfers are not included with prizes.

Weekly prizes, awarded for five consecutive weeks, include a complimentary Urban Adventure day tour for the advisor and one companion valued at $200 CAD per person, and a copy of The Intrepid List book with the option to gift it to a client. 

Weekly prize winners will be drawn at random from advisors who made a booking each week.

"We know January is one of the busiest months for Canadian travel advisors," said Caroline Tinsley, head of partnerships at Intrepid Travel. 

"This incentive is our way of showing appreciation for their hard work. We're committed to providing advisors with meaningful rewards, valuable tools, and a genuine partnership that helps them succeed."

The incentive coincides with Intrepid's New Year Sale, which includes an agent early access period from January 8 to 11 offering 20 per cent off Original Style trips for travel dates February 1 to December 14, 2026.

The public New Year Sale runs January 12 to February 13, offering up to 20 per cent off Small Group Tours for the same travel dates, with discounted prices automatically applied on Intrepid's website.

Advisors can participate by confirming new bookings between January 8 and February 13, with deposits paid. 

Progress will be tracked on a leaderboard shared in the Intrepid Travel Advisor Community on Facebook.

Weekly prize winners will be announced the following Tuesday via email and Facebook. 

Grand prize winners will be announced Monday, February 16 via email and the Intrepid Travel Advisor Community on Facebook.
