Iberostar Playa Pilar opens in Cuba

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has opened Iberostar Playa Pilar, a new five-star resort in Cuba, marking the company’s eleventh hotel in the country.

The property is part of Iberostar’s Gold category and features 482 rooms distributed in 15 buildings or bungalows, located in Key Guillermo, in the Jardines del Rey archipelago. Amenities include five swimming pools, a nautical point with boat hire and excursions and a beach restaurant, a wide variety of entertainment and activity options, a spa & wellness centre and three speciality restaurants – Mediterranean, Creole and Japanese.
