Hola Sun joins operators in suspending Cuba flights, posts refund details

Hola Sun Holidays has joined Canadian operators in temporarily suspending all flights to Cuba until April 30, 2026.

“We understand the importance of your travel plans and sincerely regret the inconvenience this situation may cause. This decision is due to circumstances beyond our control,” the company wrote in a notice posted to its website on Feb. 10.

In collaboration with Air Transat, the Cuba specialist will be arranging repatriation flights to Canada over the coming days.

“If there are any changes to your scheduled return date, details will be communicated directly by our destination representatives,” the company writes.

All affected reservations will be automatically cancelled and refunded in full. Reservations will be cancelled based on departure date.

The company notes that refunds make take up to 21 days to process.
