Goway welcomes Sean Hebert as VP, the Americas; product line to be expanded
Goway is officially welcoming its new vice-president for The Americas, Sean Hebert, who will spearhead the company’s transformation of its North American and Latin American product lines.
The newly-created role, and Hebert joining the company, was first announced at a industry event that Goway hosted in Toronto earlier this month.
Hebert has extensive experience in travel, having spent nearly a decade in the multi-day experiences industry. He most recently served as the head of marketing partnerships with travel tech start-up TourRadar
Before that, he was regional vice president of the Americas at Kensington Tours, where he oversaw the growth of their product line and helped overhaul their hiring and sales training programs.
“Goway has spent nearly 55 years impressing travel advisors and their travellers with immersive, tailor-made journeys to over 115 countries,” said Hebert in a press release that was issued Thursday (Oct. 17). “I couldn’t be prouder to join this exceptional team and help them expand their Latin and North American product with everything from wellness-oriented itineraries to culinary-themed escapes to flexible road trips. 2025 will be a big year in the Americas at Goway!”
"It gives me great pleasure to welcome Sean to the team,” stated Craig Canvin, senior vice president at Goway. “I’ve long admired Sean’s talent for innovation and am thrilled to have him lead the expansion of our North and Latin American product lines. It’s an exciting time at Goway.”
Under Hebert’s watch, Goway plans to expand its product line with fresh takes on core destinations such as Peru, Hawai’i, Costa Rica, Alaska, the Canadian Rockies, and the Galapagos Islands.
Travel advisors can also expect more diversification into growing tailor-made destinations such as Brazil, California, Colombia, and the Great American West, the company said.
