Globus spotlights 2025 booking trends, guaranteed departures

Globus has shared its 2025 booking trends, saying that Europe is in “high demand” and travellers are eager to secure their 2025 vacation plans.

With more than 85 per cent of Europe departures already locked in, Globus promises guaranteed departures, giving travel advisors more confidence with every booking.

Italy continues to be the most sought-after destination in the world, particularly for the 2025 Jubilee Year which is driving heightened interest, says Globus.

According to Globus, other “hot” Europe destinations leading bookings (and commissions for travel advisors) are:

• France – up 20% over 2024
• Alpine countries (Switzerland, Germany & Austria) – up 20% over 2024
• Portugal – up 10% over 2024
• Ireland – up 5% over 2024

According to Globus’ recent Wish List Survey of 25,000 travellers, 75 per cent are opting to visit Europe during the shoulder-season over summer getaways.

Globus’ Escapes are also meeting the demand with 200-plus planned departures across 38 tours, including: European Escape, Italian Escape, Irish Escape and Portuguese Escape.
