Globus launches new travel advisor portal, enhanced tools

Globus family of brands has launched a new travel advisor portal (TAP) for its partners.

“When we tell advisors that we’ve got you, we mean it,” said Camille Olivere, chief sales officer for the Globus family of brands, in a press release. “With this launch, we’re rolling out the proverbial red carpet for ‘U’ – travel advisor partners – with messaging and new tools that showcases the fact that travel advisors are at the centre of everything we do.”

The portal’s Phase 1 update features a one-stop shop for exploring next-generation river cruising options and a dozen styles of touring, in more than 70 countries, on six continents.

As well, for the first time, advisors not only have easy access to search our brands, styles and itineraries in one place, they can now share the details directly with clients with a new “co-branding” feature, providing a personal, call-to-action, offering them a seamless, research-to-booking platform, Olivere said.

The new portal includes new marketing tools, introducing the capability for advisors to share itineraries, co-branded with their contact information; navigation (updated design and user interface); search functions; enhanced reservation management; more resources; and new training tools.

“Our partnership with advisors goes beyond providing extraordinary travel experiences and a variety of travel styles for their clients; we’re interested in their profitability,” stated Olivere. “As a dedicated Partner for Profit, we’re focused on helping advisors grow their business. The improved TAP is a big part of that commitment.”

For travel advisors who are not yet registered on the Globus family of brands’ TAP, login is quick and easy. Advisors can also sign-up for bi-weekly emails or join the company’s dedicated trade Facebook group here.
