Globus expands Small Group Discovery tours in Europe for 2026
(Globus)

Globus will expand its Small Group Discovery program in 2026 with three new itineraries in Europe, bringing the global collection to 61 tours.

The program, first introduced to meet rising demand for more intimate group travel, features an average of 15 travellers per departure in Europe.

“Smaller groups mean more freedom, more flexibility and more unforgettable moments,” said Steve Born, chief marketing officer for the Globus family of brands.

“With an average of just 15 travellers in Europe, our Small Group Discovery tours unlock all-access moments – like rolling up your sleeves in a Sicilian kitchen or sipping wine with family vintners – that simply can’t happen in a crowd. These are the experiences that move you, connect you and stay with you forever.”

New itineraries

  • Ireland Unveiled: Beyond the Blarney (10 days, from Dublin): Includes a scone-making session and sheepdog demonstration at Rathbaun Farm, a whiskey tasting at Old Midleton Distillery, a ferry to Cape Clear Island and a medieval banquet at Bunratty Castle.

  • Gems of Sicily & Malta (10 days, from Palermo): Features a hands-on Sicilian street food class, a farm dinner with live music in Catania and a catamaran crossing to Malta with cultural visits, including Monreale Cathedral.

  • Soul of Portugal (8 days, from Lisbon): Highlights include a winery visit in Monsaraz, olive oil tasting on a rural estate, sampling ginjinha in Lisbon and a sardine-canning workshop in Porto.

Additional tours for 2026

Globus and its sister brand Cosmos are also rolling out new Classic itineraries in Europe:

  • Turkish Sampler (Globus): An eight-day tour featuring Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia, Gallipoli, Troy, Ephesus and the travertine terraces of Pamukkale.

  • Scenic Slovenia & Croatia (Cosmos): An eight-day itinerary from Ljubljana to Dubrovnik with stops at Plitvice Lakes National Park, Diocletian’s Palace in Split, oyster tasting in Ston and Dubrovnik’s Old Town.

Globus and Cosmos now offer more than 500 vacations across six continents, combining pre-arranged hotels, transportation and excursions with guided touring.
