Globus expands North America offerings

Globus will expand its North America portfolio with 10 new escorted tours, featuring various destinations from across the continent.

“2018 marks our 90th anniversary,” says Stéphanie Bishop of the Globus family of brands in Canada. “In 1918, our founder, Antonio Mantegazza purchased a rowboat to take visitors across Lake Lugano in Switzerland. And here we are today, still hosting travellers around the world – including throughout North America.”

With an already diverse portfolio of Special Event vacations in 2018, Globus will be adding Quebec’s Winter Carnival with a new seven-day vacation, more Western Canada with a new six-day Seattle, Victoria & Vancouver tour as well as the 17-day Western Canada Explorer. And, for those interested in exploring the Wild West, value-brand Cosmos is introducing a nine-day Historic Train Journey and 15-day America’s National Parks vacation featuring the Western United States.

Other new tours offer Canadians novel week-long getaways including Globus’ Music Cities: Nashville & Memphis, Colorful Newfoundland, and Southern Charms along with Cosmos’ Alaskan Highlights and Atlantic Canada’s Coastal Wonders.

Globus is once again offering dozens of GoParks! tours. When travellers book a Globus GoParks! US national parks vacation, the company will make a donation to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation – a non-profit organization that helps families of firefighters injured or killed in the line of duty. In all, the company offers an impressive 16 GoParks! Tours to 43 of America’s national parks. Globus’ top three GoParks! itineraries are: eight-day Canyon Country Adventure; nine-day Classic Fall Foliage, the 10-day Spectacular Alaska, as well a choice of 11 Fall Foliage Tours.
