Geckos adds three 2017 safaris for young travellers

Geckos Adventures, Intrepid Group’s youth operator, has introduced three brand-new, budget-friendly African safaris catering to the youth travel market.

The new safari tours will touch down in Kenya, Botswana and South Africa, starting at $1,095 CAD for an entire nine-day tour.

The new tours include: the 12-day East Africa Safari; the nine-day Journey Through Botswana; and the nine-day Vic Falls & Safari.

While the new safaris will have a maximum of 22 guests, Geckos trips on average host nine travellers. In addition to the new African itineraries, the company has also introduced new trips in North America, Asia and the Middle East for 2017.

Geckos Adventures has joined Intrepid Travel and Peregrine Adventures in the historic ban of elephant rides in 2014. Since then, Geckos has remained committed to Animal Welfare on their tours in Africa and all over the world. In 2017, Geckos will continue to work with the Blood Lions team on their #YouthForLions campaign in South Africa, while also donating a portion of all safari tours to Friends International.
