Flair Vacations names leadership team ahead of fall launch

Flair Vacations has appointed three travel industry veterans to its leadership team as the company prepares to launch this fall.

Lindsay Watkinson has been named director of commercial operations, Nadia Granata has been appointed director of marketing and Rares Dumitru will serve as director of business development and partnerships.

"As we prepare to launch Flair Vacations, we're building a leadership team with deep industry expertise and strong relationships," said Nicole Bursey, president of Flair Vacations. 

"The team brings the experience, credibility and commercial leadership that will help us establish Flair Vacations as a trusted choice for Canadian travellers and travel advisors."

The company’s initial sun destinations include Cancún, Puerto Vallarta, Punta Cana and Montego Bay. 

A fifth destination will be announced in the coming weeks, completing its launch portfolio.

Together, Watkinson, Granata and Dumitru bring more than 50 years of travel industry experience.

Watkinson joined Flair Vacations in June following nearly 19 years at Transat, where she most recently served as sales manager for Ontario, Atlantic Canada and Western Canada. 

Her experience includes advisor relations, commercial performance and distribution growth.

Granata brings more than 15 years of travel marketing experience. 

She most recently worked as a senior marketing manager with SellOffVacations and Sunwing Travel Group and previously held roles at Park’N Fly and itravel2000.

Her background includes supplier partnerships, brand strategy, digital marketing and national campaigns.

Dumitru has more than 15 years of experience in travel sales and partnerships. 

He most recently worked at Goway Travel and has held senior roles with Rail Europe, Kensington Tours and Trafalgar Tours.

Flair Vacations will offer all-inclusive packages through travel advisors to five destinations across Mexico and the Caribbean.
