Exodus launches Signature Collection for immersive travel
(Exodus Adventure Travels/Supplied)

Exodus Adventure Travels has launched The Signature Collection, a new portfolio of small-group adventure tours designed for travellers seeking immersive cultural experiences.

The collection features itineraries across destinations including Japan, Costa Rica, India, Jordan and Morocco, with departures beginning in early 2026.

Bookings open mid-November.

Each trip is led by local guides and includes what Exodus calls "distinctive accommodations" with regional character, along with experiences designed to support local communities.

The product targets travellers looking for slower-paced, immersive adventures.

"At Exodus, we believe the world isn't just here to be seen, it's here to be felt too," said Sally Cowdry, managing director at Exodus Adventure Travels.

"With The Signature Collection, our promise, 'venture to the very heart', is about enabling travellers to connect with the true essence of a place – its people, culture, and natural beauty – through meaningful encounters and thoughtful design. For over 50 years, Exodus has been leading the way in adventure travel, and The Signature Collection builds on that legacy. We've applied our decades of knowledge and experience to craft a new, elevated style of adventure – designed for those who still want to be active and curious, but seek a deeper, slower, more immersive way to explore the world. We're proud to offer our guests something genuinely different in the adventure space, as demand for experience-led travel continues to grow."

The Signature Collection includes five key elements: curated "Signature Experiences" such as invitation-only temple visits in Kyoto; "Signature Stays" in unique accommodations like luxury desert camps in Morocco; "Signature Days" offering travellers flexibility in their itinerary; local expert guides; and "Signature Legacy" experiences that support local communities.

Featured itineraries include:

Signature Morocco: Echoes of the Minaret: A journey from Marrakesh to the Atlas Mountains, with stays in riads, mountain kasbahs, and desert camps. The trip includes visits to artisan cooperatives, tea with a Berber family, and camel treks across the Sahara, along with women's empowerment initiatives and tree planting with the High Atlas Foundation.

Signature Costa Rica: Where the Wild Answers: Eco-lodge stays combined with conservation activities including rainforest replanting and visits to a jaguar protection center. The itinerary features volcanic hot springs, sustainable coffee production tours, and an oxcart painting class.

Signature Japan: Through Temples & Time: A Tokyo-to-Kyoto journey including a private tea ceremony, kintsugi workshop, and cycling tours through countryside villages. Travellers will have access to interactions with a Maiko (apprentice Geisha) and stays in traditional ryokans, including an overnight temple stay on Mount Koya.

The collection will expand to 35 tours across 30+ destinations by December 2025.
