Disney ups admission

Admission prices at Disney’s U.S. theme parks have increased again, with single-day tickets to Florida’s Walt Disney World cracking the $100 mark.

According to reports, day admission to both Disneyland and California Adventure in Anaheim have increased from $96 to $99, while tickets to Walt Disney World increased from $99 to $105. Admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot Center and Animal Kingdom have also increased to $97 from $94.

Over the last five years, Disney has invested more than $8 billion in its U.S. parks; attendance has climbed three per cent in the last fiscal year, while the company’s parks division generated operating income of almost $2.7 billion on revenue of $15.1 billion in 2014.
