Collette has released an on-demand version of Session 1 of its new four-part selling series aimed at helping travel advisors sharpen their guided-travel knowledge and sales approach.

The company said the series was built in response to advisor feedback and is designed to cover the full selling cycle with techniques advisors can use immediately.

The first installment, “Understanding Guided Touring: Setting the Scene for Sales Success,” looks at what guided travel means for Collette travellers and the wider market, tackles common misconceptions, and provides a set of questions intended to help advisors match clients with the right experience.

Early feedback from advisors has been positive, with one participant, Jude R., commenting: “Talking through ways to overcome any guided travel objections and responses were excellent."

"I’m looking forward to the complete session and experiencing my first Collette tour after completing Collette University," she added.

“We created this series because advisors asked for clear, practical selling strategies that reflect the realities of today’s guided travel market,” said Diana Ditto, vice president of product marketing and growth strategy.

“The first segment sets the stage by helping advisors reframe guided touring in a way that resonates with travellers’ needs today—and we’re thrilled to see how enthusiastically it’s already being received.”

With Session 1 now available on demand, Collette is encouraging advisors to watch ahead of the remaining live events.

Registration is now open for the next virtual event, set for Feb. 26.

Collette notes that registrants will also receive access to an on-demand version if they can’t attend live.

Collette added that additional advisor resources — including previously recorded virtual events — are available via its Travel Advisor Portal.
