Celestyal launches 2016 theme cruises

Celestyal Cruises has announced its 2016 Themed Cruise Program, featuring more than 800 different activities and special events.

The programs fall under three individual themes: Stories of Greek Culture and Heritage, Stories of Greek Summer Festivals and Stories of Greek Enogastronomy. With the assistance of more than 1,000 associates, experts and professionals, each of the concept's unique stories will be shared over a three month period, with each cruise “dressed” according to the specific theme.

Throughout March, April and May, passengers will enjoy bespoke theatrical performances and unique cultural events, including some prepared exclusively for Celestyal Cruises and performed by the famed Lyceum Club of Greek Women. In June, July and August, Celestyal Cruises will honour the storied summer festivals of ancient Greece with a non-stop array of traditional and contemporary Greek entertainment and in September, October and November, Celestyal Cruises has arranged hundreds of events that provide passengers with culinary opportunities including sampling more than 40 Greek cheeses, as well as a plethora of Greek wines and spirits and signature Greek dishes, some of which they will learn how to cook.
