Celebrity introduces Explorations

Celebrity Cruises has unveiled its new Celebrity Explorations packages, pairing ocean cruises with immersive destination experiences on land.

More than 20 unique Celebrity Explorations will be offered, with more to be revealed later this year. Vacationers can combine an ocean cruise with several days of extensive and fully-guided tours, exhilarating excursions and indulgent hotels – minus the stress of planning, says a release from Celebrity.

Guests can now pair a safari in Africa with a cruise to the Iberian Peninsula or journey down the Amazon River on a luxury, custom-built riverboat with floor-to-ceiling picture windows before setting sail on a Celebrity ship for an Antarctic cruise.

Dondra Ritzenthaler, SVP, Sales, Trade Support and Service, Celebrity Cruises, said that travel agents "will receive full commission on the entire vacation package" when booking one of the new Celebrity Explorations.
