Barcelo expands presence in Panama

Barceló Hotels & Resorts signed a 10-year agreement with Dilido Panama S.A. to lease BlueBay City Panama, a modern four-star hotel located in the prestigious business district area of Obarrio in Panama City.

The company’s expansion within Latin America follows a successful year of incorporating hotels in Spain and Europe in an effort to boost the chain’s international presence. The 143-room hotel, which will be operated by Barceló Hotels & Resorts, is located just 11 miles from Tocumen International Airport, and is situated near the famous Tower of the Americas and two large shopping centers.

BlueBay City Panama provides high quality amenities and services, such as an a la carte restaurant, sushi lounge, and rooftop bar. Facilities include two meeting rooms that can hold up to 100 people, a gym and complimentary parking.
