Baha Mar contractor returns to site

The main contractor at the delayed Baha Mar development has returned to the site after the property’s filing for bankruptcy protection was dismissed in the U.S. and Bahamas earlier this month.
According to reports, contractor China Construction America has returned to assess what works remains to be done on the project, which was stalled due to delays attributed by Baha Mar's developer to the contractor.
Earlier this month, bankruptcy protection filings made in late June by Baha Mar were dismissed by both U.S. and Bahamas courts.
The grand opening of the $3.5 billion property, which is to include 2,200 luxury guest rooms across four hotels along with what is being touted as the Caribbean’s largest casino, was to originally open in December 2014 and has been pushed back several times since.
