AMResorts announces second Costa Rica property

AMResorts has announced Secrets Papagayo Resort & Spa, the second property for the company in Costa Rica and its third signing of 2015.

AMResorts assumed management of the Hilton Papagayo Costa Rica Resort & Spa on Feb. 28 and will operate the resort under the name Papagayo Resort & Spa until May. The property will close for six months to undergo renovations, including the enhancement of the resort’s 202 suites, facilities and amenities.

The resort will reopen as the adults-only Secrets Papagayo Resort & Spa on Nov. 11, making it the 14th property for the Secrets Resort & Spas brand.

The company’s first Costa Rica property, Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica, opened to guests late last year.
