ACV launches CareFlex Plus with 24-hour cancellation option

Air Canada Vacations has launched CareFlex Plus, a new travel protection plan that allows travellers to cancel bookings up to 24 hours before departure.

The plan provides several cancellation options. 

Travellers can cancel up to 21 days before departure for a full refund, or cancel up to 24 hours before departure and receive a full refund less a transferable in-house travel credit of up to $250. 

The plan also allows booking changes and package transfers.

"As a leader in the tourism industry, it is our duty to provide the most comprehensive travel protection plan to our clients," said Nino Montagnese, vice president of Air Canada Vacations. 

"Our goal is to empower our advisors to deliver exceptional service and peace of mind to every traveller."

CareFlex Plus applies to new bookings of vacation packages and Flight & Hotel packages to Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Canada, the United States, Europe, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and North Africa.

The plan is commissionable and complements Air Canada Vacations' existing travel protection offerings.

Through the ACV&ME loyalty program, travel agents earn 500 points per room for packages of seven nights or more, redeemable for Aeroplan points, travel vouchers or gift cards.
