Adventure Canada's 2016 expeditions ready to book

Adventure Canada has launched its 2016 expedition catalogue, featuring new programs and returning itineraries for the company’s twenty-ninth season.

New for 2016 is the award-winning Mighty Saint Lawrence itinerary, named one of National Geographic Traveller’s 50 Tours of a Lifetime. This sailing begins in Québec City, and travels down the Saint Lawrence River, featuring whale watching, and exploration of areas such as Saguenay Fjord and Cape Breton.

The catalogue also announces Adventure Canada’s return to Sable Island. Launched in 2014, Adventure Canada is heading back this year to explore the dunes alongside one of the world’s last remaining herds of wild horses.

The 2016 season's Arctic programming includes the Northwest Passage, as well as Canada’s eastern Arctic regions and Greenland.

Adventure Canada has also entered a new partnership with Nikon, allowing guests to try out Nikon’s latest cameras, lenses, and gear first-hand, in the field. The season will be fully supported by an expert team of authors, musicians, archeologists, historians, geologists, biologists and culturalists on each and every expedition. Resource staff and special guest biographies can be found throughout the Expeditions 2016 pages.
