Transat adds groups to Tripbook, unlocking self-service features
(Transat)

Transat says that after a "thorough design and development process" with SoftvoyageTripbook now includes several self-service group booking features.

As explained in a press release, travel advisors can now select seats for all occupants in the same room, add luggage, generate electronic documentsand make payments for their group bookings.

"By being the first to adopt this technology, Transat is making it easier for travel agencies to book groups by giving them greater autonomy, which translates into efficiencies throughout the process, said Julie Sareault, Transat's commercial director, in a statement. Integrating groups into Tripbook was a long-standing request, and we have listened. This is an important step forward for us.

A second phase of development is planned to add even more self-service features to Tripbook and will be presented in the coming months.
