Rocky Mountaineer launches new Canadian Rockies route
Rocky Mountaineer has launched a brand-new Passage to the Peaks route through Canada, available for booking only in June and July 2026.
The new journey explores the heart of the Canadian Rockies, featuring destinations like Jasper, Kamloops, Lake Louise and Banff.
Unlike other Rocky Mountaineer routes, Passage to the Peaks does not travel to the west coast, instead focusing on the evergreen forests, glacial lakes and mountains between Banff and Jasper.
On this daylight-only luxury rail experience, guests will witness the breathtaking scenery unfold through panoramic windows and glass-domes on GoldLeaf coaches. Travellers will also be treated to gourmet meals prepared by onboard chefs using fresh local ingredients, while personalized service from hosts ensures every need is met.
