Viktor Spysak joins Air Canada as manager, sales & tourism partnerships
A familiar face in the travel industry has joined the sales team at Air Canada.
Toronto-based Viktor Spysak, a former senior marketing executive at the Tourism Authority of Thailand, has joined Canada’s flag carrier as a manager of sales and tourism partnerships, PAX has learned.
“I am super thrilled to become a member of Air Canada family, our national carrier,” said Spysak, who began his new role earlier this month. “I am also excited that I will get the chance to work with amazing tourism partners to achieve our mutual goals in supporting Air Canada’s routes and bringing more Canadians to our partner destinations.”
Moving forward, Spysak will be responsible for building new and managing existing relationships with tourism partners to support Air Canada's routes through various marketing campaigns and initiatives.
The portfolio includes outbound accounts, such as international tourism boards, airports and tourism associations, he said.
This was previously managed by Audrey Tanguay Beaudette, who will continue to work with Air Canada’s inbound partners.
“I am very grateful for all the support that I and my former team received from industry partners and friends,” Spysak told PAX. “I look forward to continuing this special relationship with all of you in my new role.”
