VIDEO: TTAND founder Flemming Friisdahl's advice to agents amid the COVID-19 pandemic

It may not be the best of times for travel right now, but the COVID-19 pandemic will pass and travel agents will soon get back to doing what they love. 

"...we’ve always come out of this and we always come out stronger," says Flemming Friisdahl, founder of The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND), in a new video in support of Canada's travel trade. 

Friisdahl's advice to travel agents for weathering the COVID-19 storm? 

"Stay relevant, stay in touch, stay in mind," he says. 

That starts with calling and emailing clients to see how they're doing during this period of isolation and publishing lots of social media, he says. 

"Shortly, you’re going to be back selling travel, doing what you love to do, and they’re going to want to call you because you’re top of mind to them," Friisdahl says. 

"We will get through this together. I guarantee you."
