Tanya Johnson joins Travel Edge as director of business development

Michael Pihach is an award-winning journalist with a keen interest in digital storytelling. In addition to PAX, Michael has also written for CBC Life, Ryerson University Magazine, IN Magazine, and DailyXtra.ca. Michael joins PAX after years of working at popular Canadian television shows, such as Steven and Chris, The Goods and The Marilyn Denis Show.

Tanya Johnson has joined the team at the Travel Edge Network as a director of business development, Canada.

Johnson, formally a senior business development manager at Uplift, and who previously worked at Bedsonline and Royal Irish Tours, started her role at Travel Edge on July 22.

Speaking to PAX, Johnson said she’s “thrilled” to join the host agency, which is one of the largest luxury-focused travel agencies in North America.

In her new role, Johnson will oversee growing Travel Edge’s network of luxury advisors in Canada and United States.

“It’s an opportunity to build new and meaningful relationships within the travel advisor community,” she said. “I’d like to thank those who have supported me along the way. Here’s to making great things happen together!”

She's encouraging agents wanting to learn more about Travel Edge to reach out.
